Denver Public Works, with major support from Denver Community Planning and Development, is developing the Denver Strategic Transportation Plan (STP). The STP will determine what kinds of transportation investments Denver needs to plan for bikes, pedestrians, and transit as well as for street improvements for vehicle traffic. The STP is the first step in identifying the needs for every major travel corridor in the City. Key to plan development is a collaborative planning process that involves city agencies, regional authorities and the public in key decisions throughout plan development.
